On one April day I got news that I would have to move out of my rental and that I was going to need to start chemotherapy. To say the least, it was a gold star day. At the time, I did not have the finances to move. The enigma of the treatment protocol was that I was feeling the best I had been feeling for years.
In four hours, on one day I started a journey that has taught me charity, love, graciousness, and adaptation. My regular crew all had life happening. God sent Angels. Through a story that is too long to write here. The local Mormon ward became my legend of Angels. From April through September, every week someone was present in my home. They prayed with me, taught me, loved, me and mostly importantly packed and moved me. To Bishop Tyler and his community there are no words grand enough to say thank you. God’s blessings poured into me. You were God saying…. P.S. I Love You.
Now, as is my tradition, 36 Days of Devotion is beginning. Through December 24, 2021 videos of the simple prayer for this season will be posted on my YouTube Channel. It is through a consistent and constant practice of sitting in God’s Compassionate Care that has gotten me through. I have a new home. Chemotherapy is continuing. Progress is being made. I have been blessed abundantly.
